Black-Eyed Susan - 1923 Color Print

This antique color illustration has vibrant yellow colors. The print comes from the book Wild Flowers Worth Knowing by Neltje Blanchan and adapted by Asa Don Dickinson for the Little Nature Library originally copyrighted in 1917 and published in 1923 by Doubleday, Page & Company for Nelson Doubleday, Inc.
This plate is titled “Black-Eyed Susan or Ox-Eye Daisy” and its description was featured on page 240 of the book. The print is professionally matted in an 8” x 10” burgundy colored matte to setoff the beauty of the image. Our vintage prints are shipped in a plastic sleeve between cardboard stiffeners to arrive in perfect condition.
Keep in mind, an antique print will never be “mint” like a new print and there are sometimes tiny occasional spots and/or discoloring or aging. However, we will not sell anything that we would not be proud to hang on our own walls!!!
