High Hand Kiwi Fruit Crate Label

It’s not often you see a kiwi crate label and this is a great one. It sports a poker hand of four aces, usually recognized as the “Highest Hand” in a poker game, the company trademark. Clearly to indicate the fruit is of the highest quality. In reality, the highest hand in a poker match is the Royal Straight Flush, but who cares, this is a terrific label. The fruit was grown and shipped by The Loomis Fruit Growers Association of Loomis, Placer County, California. The label measures 8.75“ Wide x 2.25“ High and was lithographed by Louis Roesch Litho of San Francisco, California. Since it has a zip code on the address it is probably from the 1950s.
