Lady Luxury Complexion Powder

This complexion powder label is from Dr. J.B. Lynas & Son, Logansport, Indiana. This is an incredibly detailed colorful pink label, circa 1905. It is approximately 3" in diameter and in excellent condition. According to the label it “Delightfully adheres – imparts a soft natural tint and a delicate freshness. Is practically invisible – absolutely free from any harmful ingredients”. Wow, I need to get some of that!
Dr. Lynas began manufacturing remedies in his home in the middle 1800s after a successful medical career. In 1874 he established a laboratory and in 1898 he officially setup J.B. Lynas & Son. By 1913 the company had 1500 employees in Logansport, Indiana. This label says it is from the laboratories of Lynas, Perfumer, which was clearly a way to stress the cosmetic line instead of his remedies.
